To my salisbury friend-some very fair points and losing twice to Salisbury does not put my argument in the strongest of positions. However i dont think lightening will strike twice and i do think that both salisbury and histon will struggle to make an impact this year now we have seen what you are all about but fair play and i dont deny any team who is promoted deserve there chance.there i have set myself up for a fall but i would be very surprised if salisbury took more than one point off york this year but we will see- any way enough of all that-heres to a good season for all- regards and good luck
No desire personally to see mansfield flop the pain of being relegated is still very raw but trust me getting into the conference is a heck of a lot easier than getting out of it-no difference between top half of conference and league 2.like wise i am pleased to see billy back in a job although to be honest i am not sure he is quite as good as his ego says he is but he scraped us off the floor and engendered some self belief and discipline all which had gone.bit tough on the youngsters and his seargent major style started to wear a bit thin eventually but i for one will be giving him a big welcome at kit kat i am sure we will finish above you but us ex league clubs need all the friends we can get so good luck and all the best for the season
york try to play football from the back using the pace frowm woolford in particular. They have some pace up front and scoring goals not really a probem.however messed about last year between 442 and 3 at the back and ended up in chaos too many times to mention have signed some decent looking central midfield players close season and with the addition of mcbreen up front should in my opinion play rather than hoof them selfs into the play offs stevenage rushton and oxford the pick of the rest
Been following york city 20 years mainly through"thin" but this year i think we are going to do well.squad together early strong spine lots of fire power and plenty of competition.spirit good season tickets healthy and every body buzzing.great showing against a decent leeds 11 the other night. With Mcbreen still to come in and a bit of summer muscle added to some great talented and quick younger players the cloggers from the likes f histon and salisbury will in my view shown up for what they are-we shall see and i have eaten humble pie before but until the 9th the dream is alive so look out crawley the friendly invasion from the north will soon be drinking your beer chatting up your woman and filling your coffers!come on city!!
13 points clear. Lets hope that Cloughie sees more potential at Burton than Derby... MORE >>
