The stadium is modern having been completely re-built in the last few years, matching the teams' meteoric rise up the pyramid with four promotions in six seasons. The latest edition to the ground is the impressive looking East Stand which was first opened to spectators in March 2011. This 2,000 capacity all seated stand was a built at a cost of around £4m. It has a single tier of seating, whilst above are two rows of executive/hospitality areas. These are covered by a semi circular roof, with large glassed areas to either side which allow light to get to the pitch. At the front of this stand are the team dugouts.
Opposite is the Highbury Stand, which is a small all-seated covered stand. It is only six rows high, has a capacity of 550 and runs for only half the length of the pitch, meaning that there is a large open area next to it, although this area does feature some buildings including the team dressing rooms. Both ends are covered terraces of similar size. The stadium is completed with a set of modern floodlights.
Away supporters are welcome in the new supporters' bar, although access may be limited if and when segregation is ordered by police. The Queen's pub on Poulton Road, and The Jolly Sailor, on Radcliffe Road, are both less than half a mile to the ground.
There is a fish and chip shop opposite the ground on Highbury Avenue, and an Aldi Supermarket on Poulton Road.
Leave the M55 at junction 3, following signs for Fleetwood on the A585 for 11 miles before turning left at the Nautical College traffic island. Take the sixth exit off the second island and continue down Hatfield Avenue for a little under a mile. Ground can then be seen on the left. Street parking is available, with limited parking at the club
Blackpool North is more than seven miles from the ground so visitors need to take the No14 bus (every 10 mins), which passes close to the ground, from Blackpool town centre, a journey of about half an hour, or a tram from close to the Blackpool seafront, which takes about 40 minutes and costs £2.50.

Blue Square Premier Play Off Semi Final, 7th May 2011
Fleetwood Museum tells the tale of how steam-powered trawlers transformed the town into one of Britain's most important fishing ports or, if travelling with children, take a trip to the town's pier, which has a video games arcade and indoor adventure playground. In general, there is plenty to do on the seafront.
