If the village team beat Cambridge as they have done many times before (5-0 under Quinn ), what level of football does that mean they are ? Cheer up neilybabe at least when united go bust from overspending as they have done for years ,you can come along to the glassworld
View all astute's postsSurely its possible for the BS.League officials to come up with a better solution concerning the demise of Chester City and the mess they leave behind in the table, rather than just docking the points of previous Opponents, and thus changing the fate and fortunes of many clubs rather abruptly.Without doubt this ruling will cost clubs at either end of the table a lot of money. Why couldent the League just award every fixture of the whole season for Chester a win for their opponents of 2 nil.
View all Stephenpaul's postsstags fans - what did you make of the game last night? having seen a video of our 'goal', i have to say it was onside, so that's disappointing. i also felt the ref spoilt the second half with his persistant whistling, but I guess that's part of the fun with BSP football. very committed game from both teams, but too much of it was in midfield, neither keeper had to make a meaningful save really, but we definately came closest, and feel overall we edged it. not a bad following considering a midweek game either, shame there weren't many stags in the crowd though...but the atmosphere flattened as the game petered out which is a shame. still, another clean sheet and another point for both teams, best of luck for rest of the season, and see you next year probably lol. View all Greenwomble's postsI dont know what game Evans was watchng at the Racecourse but it wasnt the Wrexham v Crawley game. Their keeper had a blinder making 4 fantastic saves and the first half I thought was very even. The second half Wrexam dominated, Crawley didnt even start playing. And Mr Evans, the reason the home fans were booing was because of the rediculous decisions the referee had made in the first half. If he's going to make comments let them be honest ones.

View all blythsno1fan's postsI read these pages everyday, and have done since the start of the season... so I thought its about time I stopped reading all about JACKFROST and laughing at his strange interlect and giving us true Oxonions a bad name, and get on here myself and give some serious imput... greetings all fellow BlueSquare followers and watch this space.
View all LivinthedreamOX's postsaltyr6, your post about JACKFROST has to be the best post of the season by far. I couldn't have summed him up any better.
View all stevostag's postsWhy is it that Luton have undoubtedly got probably the strongest squad in the league and yet we constantly turn in really average performances? Every week I go thinking that this will be the week that we suddenly wake from our slumber. We either get beaten at home by average sides or struggle to a narrow win away whilst over teams spank 5 or 6 past the opposition!! Like most LTFC fans I thought we'd lose a few but ultimately be too strong for the league and I'm still convinced we'll go up (through a nail biting Play Off final route). The only solice that I can find is that it has now got to the stage where we can be so bad that perversely it is quite amusing. I'd love to think that a corner will soon be turned but deep down I don't think that the players have the same desire as the fans. Hears looking forward to a goaless draw with the mighty Barrow followed by the anticipation of the (now not so big) Oxford game which no doubt the boys will be up for and we'll lose to a late scrappy goal. The only consolation to fall back on is that it does seem that no matter how poor we are, it will be almost impossible not to get into the play-offs as almost everyone else is as mediocre!
View all therealnjinski's postsBad loss for st albans yesterday. 5-0 against Newport county who surely are going to get promoted the the bsp. This season has been a rollercoaster. Lets hope we can get a win against Bath city next week. COYS

View all luton246's postsWe're too good for this league!
View all 41yrs_aLutonFan's postsI will be sorry to see Gallen go. He always puts in a good performance and is our top scorer. He has obviously not got the pace he used to have, but when Harford played him in midfield at the end of last season (Probably the best decision Harford made) Gallens vision and distribution of the ball was superb, much better than Nicholls. I have mixed feelings about Nico. Hes been a great servant to the club but he seems to have lost his passion apart from when he is making clumsy tackles, giving away silly freekicks. He also seems to think he has to take every corner and freekick. His performances have improved of late but for how long? I wish him well wherever he ends up. Not too worried about losing White. He is good at heading the ball up in the air and very inconsistent. We have much better defenders than him in Ed Asafu-Adjaye and George Pilkington. Once again I hope he gets on well at Darlington.
View all 41yrs_aLutonFan's postsstevenageotb, I presume you ask this question with tongue in cheek. Why would they want that useless waste of space in charge after seeing the damage he has done to our club, with his passion free hoof'n'hope football and lack of tactical nouse. Its because of him that we are in the same league as you.
View all 41yrs_aLutonFan's postsWe played Stevenage away and there were nowhere as good as I thought they were going to be, we were unlucky not to get the 3 points, hit the bar, their keeper made a couple of good saves, they rarely troubled us until the last minute where they had a header cleared off the line but apart from that, I'm not sure how they are up there. Oxford should really win the league to be honest, I was looking forward to seeing how Oxford would get on against Sunderland but it was typical they lost to Barrow and didn't get the chance to get spanked in the FA Cup. I'm looking forward to the trip to Oxford, because I know their fans will constantly having banter with us during the whole of the game unlike the Stevenage fans who have one song and give up singing half way through, poor fans to be honest. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAFC WIMBLEDON!!

View all stagsaloud's postsI am really annoyed cause the rushden game is going to be the first home game I have missed in years. COME ON YOU YELLOWS!
View all Madrid_Yellows's postsI think it is an absolute outrage that Milton Keynes should be nominated as one of the proposed hosting cities for the World Cup bid 2018. Not only did this group of entrepreneurs, with no love for or interest in football, lie through their teeth in order to get approval to move the team I supported for over 20 years to another location some 70 miles away but now they have the audacity to bid for their stadium to host a world cup match. The aggrieved Wimbledon FC fans did not get any support whatsoever when we went it alone and started up a new club AFC Wimbledon in the 9th Division of the Pyramid, which is what Milton Keynes ought to have done and not steal someone else¿s football team/club. Consequently and for the sake of football, integrity and some respect for the long suffering Wimbledon FC fans (now AFC Wimbledon) I would request that the Milton Keynes Stadium is summarily removed from the short list of host cities and replaced with a more deserving one.

It seems unfair to take 6pts from F'wood Town (2 wins against Farsley Celtic) and only 3pts off S'port (1 win and 1 loss). This has virtually handed 3pts to S'port in the revised table. FD Town were 6pts ahead with S'port having 2 games in hand, now they are 3pts ahead with the 2 games in hand. It seems that FD have been penalised for winning both their games against Farsley Celtic. What an uproar there would be in the Premier League if Pompey could not fulfill their last 10 fixtures. Instead of Chelsea being 2pts behind Man Utd with a game in hand, they would be 1pt ahead with a game in hand. Could not a fair solution be found to this? If S'port gain promotion by 1 or 2 pts that would really rub the salt in the FD wound. Would be interested in others posts on this matter. Best regards Adder.
