Torquay 0-1 Farsley Celtic

Farsley Celtic eased their relegation fears with a superb 1-0 victory over Torquay United on Saturday afternoon.

The only goal of the game came in rather fortunate circumstances on 16 minutes.

Gulls goalkeeper Simon Raynor fumbled the ball over his own goalline to hand the visitors the lead.

The home side were visibly shaken by what had happened and as a result failed to take any of their chances on goal, with Chris Zebroski coming the closet to scoring.

But late on the home side nearly snatched a point when Chris Robertson headed just over the bar from close range.

The victory moves Farsley three points clear of the relegation zone, while Torquay still occupy second spot.
