Grays Athletic's New Year got off to the worst possible start at they were hammered by Ebbsfleet.
Liam Daish's men opened the scoring in the 29th minute at Stonebridge Road as Neil Barrett fired in from outside the area.
Ross Flitney, in goal for the Gravelmen, conceded a second just before half-time. Luke Moore played in Stacy Long who made no mistake to make it 2-0 to Ebbsfleet.
Alan Power gave Grays a glimmer of hope with his goal, but 15 minutes from time Long set-up Micheal Bostwick to make it 3-1 before Long grabbed his second of the game to complete the rout.
