Ebbsfleet 4-1 Weymouth

Ebbsfleet United moved closer to the promotion play-off places after cruising to victory over struggling Weymouth on Saturday afternoon.

Fleet got off to a flying Start with Stacy Long scoring in the 2nd minute and then again in the 27th to put his side in a commanding position.

The home side effectively killed off the game after 40 minutes when Chukki Eribenne headed in from the centre of the penalty area.

The Terras tried valiantly to reduce the three-goal deficit and got a breakthrough in the 73rd minute when Gavin McCallum latched onto a Justyn Roberts pass and slipped the ball into the bottom-right of goal.

However, it was not to be as Ebbsfleet tightened their grip and Micheal Bostwick scored their fourth with a drilled shot just minutes before the final whistle.
