What's The Ground Like?

On one side is the tidy looking Main Stand. This covered all seated stand has recently been extended. It does though have a number of supporting pillars running along its front. Unusually the team dugouts are not located in front of this stand, but opposite in front of an old looking covered terrace. This has a television gantry located on top that looks a little precarious. A new open terrace has been constructed at the Social Club end of the ground. The other end is also a terrace that does benefit from a small covered area at its rear. The floodlighting at the Amlin Stadium has been upgraded to meet the entry requirements to the Football League.

Where to Drink?

There is a good sized club house at the ground which lets in away supporters. Otherwise a five minute walk away is the Orange Tree Pub.

Where to Eat?

If you had travelled to the ground by car from the M11, then you will have seen by the Galley's Corner roundabout, a McDonalds, KFC & Pizza Hut outlets.

How to Get There by Car & Where to Park

Leave the M11 at junction 8 and take the A120 towards Colchester. Follow the A120 for 16 miles until you reach the 'Galley's Corner' roundabout (with McDonalds on your right). Take the first exit into Cressing Road. After three quarters of a mile turn left into Clockhouse Way (signposted Braintree Town FC) and then first left again for the ground. There is a small car park at the ground, otherwise street parking.

Nearest Train Station

Braintree station is situated just under a mile away from the ground. It is served by trains from London Liverpool Street.
