Red Devils show trio the exit

Crawley Town manager Steve Evans has started his preparations for the new season and has revealed that three players have not been offered new deals.

Paul Watson, Lee Blackburn and James Krause have all been told they are free to leave Broadfield stadium while Evans continues his contract negotiations with the rest of his squad.

"I am currently in the middle of discussing next season with the players and by Friday I will reveal full details of who is on board the train for next seasons journey towards the play offs," Evans told his club's official website.

"I can confirm at this stage that Paul Watson, Lee Blackburn and James Krause will not be offered new deals.

"Each of these lads has a superb attitude and we all wish them every success for next season.

"I will not comment on anyone else as the players will hear it first from me."

Evans is also in the process of drawing up a list of potential transfer targets and added: "I have drawn up a list of intended targets and I started work on that last week.

"This will continue as we go forward into the weekend and beyond.

"It's hectic at the moment but we managers would not have it any other way. As for players, unless you are involved in something, its flip-flop and beach time.

"My own flip-flops need to stay in the cupboard for a few more weeks yet but they do see the daylight appearing".
