Blue Square Premier side Grays Athletic have started their summer rebuilding with the capture of midfield duo Stuart Elliott and Ishmael Welsh.
Elliott arrives at the New Recreation Ground following his release from Blue Square Premier rivals York City and brings a wealth of experience with him.
The versatile player started his career as a youth trainee at Arsenal and went on to join Newcastle United following his release.
He stayed with the Magpies for five years but didn't manage to break into the first-team.
The 30-year-old can list Darlington, Plymouth, Swindon, Gillingham, Northwich Victoria and York City amongst some of his former clubs.
Deptford-born Welsh joins the Blues following his recent release by League One side Yeovil Town.
Welsh will certainly be familiar with the Blue square Premier standard of play, as he spent the whole season in the division in two separate loan spells.
He started the season with Torquay United and returned to the Glovers in the January transfer window.
However, his stay was short-lived as he soon returned for a spell with Jim Harvey's Forest Green Rovers.
The midfielder stared his career with West Ham United and went on to sign for Yeovil in July 2006.
