Cambridge United supporters have been snapping up tickets for the club's play-off final trip to Wembley with a quarter of the tickets sold within two hours of availability.
A massive 5,500 of 21,300 tickets have already been bought for the season defining clash against Exeter on May 18.
And 3,700 of those tickets were wrapped by fans within the first-half hour of going on sale.
Chairman Phil Law admits the U's are both overwhelmed and delighted at the support they have received thus far.
He told Cambridge Evening News: "We knew there would be unprecedented demand, but I'm absolutely flabbergasted that people are so keen to show their support.
"To have that sort of clamour for tickets in a great endorsement of the club and what we're trying to achieve.
"After so many years of disappointment, we've had a slight upturn in fortunes at the club and it's great that the wider populace of the city are probably looking forward to it as much as the football fans.
"Certainly since Tuesday everywhere I've gone I've been met with smiles and most people want to talk about the club and Wembley and what's going on, even those who would normally not want to talk about football.
"We're on a massive high at the moment and let's hope we can carry it on beyond the final."
