Burgess receives England call-up

Rushden midfielder Andy Burgess has been called up to the eighteen man England C Squad for their Four Nations Tournament against Scotland, Wales and Gibraltar's Non-League sides in Wales.

The first fixture, at Colwyn Bay FC's Stadium will take place on Tuesday 20th May 2008 at 7pm against Gibraltar.

The England C Team then play Scotland, again at Colwyn Bay on Thursday 22nd May 2008 at 7pm.

The final game of the competition takes place at Rhyl FC's stadium on Saturday 24th May 2008 at 2pm and sees England play the hosts Wales.

After the tournament the squad will travel to the Caribbean for a tour to Grenada and Barbados, playing against the Senior International Sides in order to assist those nations for their FIFA World Cup Qualifying Campaigns.

The England C team will play Grenada at 4pm on Saturday 31st May 2008 at the Grenada National Stadium, St Georges.

Followed by Barbados at 7pm on Monday 2nd June 2008 at the Barbados National Stadium, Bridgetown. Whilst in Grenada the squad will also help run coaching sessions for local schools and clubs.
