Paul Buckle
Torquay United manager Paul Buckle has started reshaping his squad for the season ahead by releasing four players, including veteran Tony Bedeau.
29-year-old midfielder Bedeau joined Blue Square Premier rivals Weymouth on loan at the end of February and has now been told that his services are no longer required by the Gulls.
Joining Bedeau in heading for the exit are midfielders Matt Hockley and Darren Mullings, as well as defender Paul Hinshelwood.
25-year-old Hockley is a product of Torquay's youth system and the midfielder has made 230 first-team appearances since penning a professional deal in July 2000.
21-year-old midfielder Mullings started his career with Bristol Rovers and after making four first-team appearances, he made a switch to Torquay on a free transfer in June 2007.
Buckle is also currently locked in contract negotiations with Kevin Hill, who is the club's longest serving player.
Chris Zebroski, Mark Ellis and Jody Banim have all returned to their respective parent clubs following the completion of their loan spells.
