Grays Athletic manager Wayne Burnett feels his side let the fans down with a poor display against Lewes on the weekend.
These comments come after Grays drew 0-0 with Lewes on Saturday. Both teams are currently fighting for survival in the relegation zone of the Blue square Premier.
Burnett agreed that his team had put in a poor showing at the Recreation Ground.
"I'm disappointed to say the least - again we weren't clever enough, there wasn't enough guile or creativity," he told BBC Essex.
"If I was a fan I'd be bitterly disappointed paying to watch that.
"I wanted and expected more, my expectation levels are incredibly high and I want us to be successful."
The draw was Burnett's first game in charge of The Blues, and he might be looking to ring in a few changes to the team.
"I've got a good group of players and we have got a few injuries at the moment but that shouldn't take us away from our performance - it wasn't good at all.
"I think we need certain individuals in to strengthen the team and we'll do that."
Grays will need a win away to Rushdens & Diamonds if they want to lift themselves out of the danger zone.
