Harriers swoop for forward Moore

Blue Square Premier outfit Kidderminster Harriers have completed the signing of forward Stefan Moore on a one-month deal.

The former Aston Villa striker had been on trial at the Harriers recently and has finally put pen to paper on a contract after impressing manager Mark Yates.

The Harriers manager told Express And Star: "What really pleased me about it was how easy Stefan was to work with.

"Money was not an issue. He just wants to play football, which is want we want to offer him.

"I told him what I had to offer financially and he accepted it with ease.

"I am really pleased with his attitude. He wants to get his career back on track after the problems he has had. That is all he wants.

"Stefan is our player for a month, so that is how long we don't have to worry about his future for. From there, we will have to see what we can do."

Moore goes straight into the Harriers squad for their Blue Square Premier clash with Ebbsfleet at Aggborough Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
