Holker Street
York City have done an about-turn on their decision to allow Richard Brodie to continue his loan-spell with Barrow for a further month.
The Minstermen have instead decided to recall the striker after this weekends set of games, which means he will miss the F.A Cup second-round tie against Brentford.
Barrow will now try and persuade York to make the England C player available to them in the January transfer window when Barrow will be pushing for a permanent deal.
The 21-year-old has scored four goals in six games for Barrow, including a brace in his debut game against Tamworth in the F.A Cup.
But, it is not yet known whether York will be willing to re-release Brodie come January.
Meanwhile, The Bluebirds finance's were considerably bolstered this week when it was announced that their F.A Cup tie with Brentford would be televised, adding an extra £85,000 into the Holker Street coffers.
