Luke Moore's late strike gave Ebbsfleet United a hard-fought Blue Square Premier win on the road.

Jon Paul Pitman had fired the home side ahead in the 32nd-minute when he converted a routine chance after Steve Fletcher's pinpoint pass put him through on goal.

Ebbsfleet pushed hard at times but couldn't find a way through the home side's defence until the 82nd-minute when Michael Gash's excellent shot from the edge of the penalty area beat Simon Rayner in the Crawley goal.

Fleet completed their miraculous late fightback seven minutes later with Moore netting the precious winner.

The result means Crawley stay agonisingly out of reach of the play-off spots while Ebbsfleet consolidate their place in the top half of the table.
