Lewes boss Kevin Keehan has launched an appeal to players, former players, fans and anyone associated with the Sussex outfit to help save the club.
Keehan has appealed to everyone to donate £100 to help the club while a long-term solution to their financial problems is found.
Meanwhile, Mark Henderson, of shirt sponsors Magic Man, has launched a appeal of his own in order to raise £500,000 by getting businesses to contribute £5,000 to buy into a consortium to take over the club.
Keehan told the Argus: "Mark is doing his bit but doesn't have a lot of time.
"This idea might keep things going in the short term so that nothing drastic happens while people are trying to put something together for the long term.
"I have got 30 people who have donated so far and everyone who does so will be listed in the programme and on the club website.
"Mark is trying to get the ultimate answer. This isn't the answer but a short-term fix which gives us enough time to find a long-term solution."
The Rooks managing director Martin Elliott said the Board would meet later this week to discuss the future of the club.
He said: "We are waiting to see what Mark Henderson can do. We will sit down at the end of the week and see where we are.
"There have been no bids."
