Burgess: We can make play-offs

Rushden & Diamonds midfielder Andy Burgess feels that his side are close to making the play-off spots in the Blue Square Premier.

The former England C International netted a brace in the emphatic 4-0 win at Altrincham, which moved the Diamonds up to ninth place in the table.

The 26-year-old told BBC Radio Northampton: "We're hanging on, we've just got to keep going and not worry about anybody else".

"We've got a decent squad here, we've just got to push on and get consistency in our game."
