Moses Ashikodi
Ebbsfleet United have clinched the signature of striker Moses Ashikodi following his release by fellow Blue Square Premier side Kettering Town.
The 22-year-old was released by Kettering Town recently after turning down a new contract offer at Rockingham Road.
Ashikodi started his career with at Millwall at the age of fifteen and has gone on represent the likes of Rangers, Watford and Shrewsbury Town.
Ebbsfleet boss Liam Daish told BBC Radio Kent: "Scoring hasn't been too bad of late but we needed something different.
"Moses can give us that. He had a good first half of the season with Kettering, got them up to third in the league with his goals.
"But we've made an early move for him, he appreciates that, he's got connections in this area, he wanted to come and wanted to help this club become safe.
"He can play with his back to goal, he's got decent athleticism and pace. He'll give us a presence up front.
Daish has also revealed that he has funds available to make a loan signing if needs be.
He added: "Unless money can be generated he will be our only signing. I've still got the loan option which I can utilise, should I need it."
