Hatters boosted by Hatch return

Striker Liam Hatch says he is glad to be back in action after scoring the winning goal against strugglers Barrow AFC on Saturday afternoon.

The Peterborough frontman - currently on a season-long loan at Kenilworth Road - has recently returned to the fold after an ankle operation which has kept him on the sidelines for a lengthy period.

And the 27-year-old has shown Luton fans just what they've been missing with a number of eye-catching performances recently.

However, Hatch was on the verge of being substituted before eventually going on to score the all-important winning goal.

Hatch told Luton Today: "I saw my name go up and thought here we go.

"Then Claude's gone down with an injury and they kept me on and from the next corner I get the goal.

"It's always nice to get a few goals and two in two is absolutely fantastic.

"I'm hoping to keep as fit as possible. The hamstring tightened up a little bit. It's been six months out and three games in a fortnight.

"It's been nice getting back and getting 90 minutes under my belt and to get the winner."
