Gary Mills
Tamworth manager Gary Mills was full of praise for his charges after seeing them claim the scalp of high-flyers Stevenage Borough at the weekend.
The Lambs saw off the challenge of promotion hopefuls Oxford United in mid-January with a 1-0 win at Kassam Stadium and replicated that feat by beating Graham Westley's Stevenage 1-0 at the Lamb Ground.
An elated Mills told the Tamworth Herald: "Absolutely magnificent is how I would sum up the game.
"In 15 years that I have been in management, that is the best team performance of any of my sides.
"We absolutely dominated Stevenage. Everything about my players - heart, desire, passing the ball, tackling - it was all superb to the extent where they had to revert to bullying us and trying to rough us up second half.
"We thrived on that though. I'm chuffed but I know that performance is something we are capable of."
