Andy Nicholas
Blue Square Premier high flyers Mansfield Town have announced the signing of Rotherham United defender Andy Nicholas on loan until the end of the season.
The 26-year-old left-back has been drafted in by Stags boss David Holdsworth following Paul Heckingbottom's loan move to Gateshead recently.
Nicholas is known for his effective use of long throw-ins and will vie for the left back position with Craig Armstrong.
He started his career at Liverpool and went on to sign for Swindon where he made 141 league appearances.
Holdsworth told the club's official website: "I am delighted to welcome Andy to our club for the remainder of the season and I know he is looking forward to pulling on a Mansfield jersey.
"He is a very strong and capable defender."
