Sam Sheridan
Stockport County have given permission for midfielder Sam Sheridan to join fellow Blue Square Bet Premier side Southport on a month's loan.
The 22-year-old has featured regularly for the Hatters this term, making 20 appearances and scoring two goals in the process.
Sheridan is a former Bolton Wanderers trainee and has represented the Republic of Ireland at Under-19 level.
Commenting on Sheridan's move to Southport, Stockport manager Jim Gannon told the club's official website: "Sam is very much part of our plans, he has recently had a fantastic spell in the team including a match winning performance against Barrow.
"This is a great opportunity for him to keep playing having lost his place in our starting line-up due to the arrival of Matt Mainwaring and Paul Turnbull."
