Darran Kempson
Reds confirm Kempson capture
Alfreton Town have signed 6'2'' central defender Darran Kempson on contract to the end of the 2011/12 season.
Kempson, 27, was a free agent after having a two-year contract with Grimsby Town cancelled by mutual consent in December 2011. He had been club captain at Blundell Park.
He has a wealth of experience at the top level of non-league football and above and his list of former clubs include Morecambe, Wrexham, Shrewsbury Town, Crewe Alexandra, Accrington Stanley.
He will wear squad number 26 and has been added to Nicky Law's squad for Saturday's league game at Luton Town.
