Salisbury City face Stevenage Borough at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium
Thursday March 27, 2008
Salisbury City v Stevenage Borough (19.45, Live on Setanta 1)
Prices correct at time of writing (1.30pm, Wednesday March 26, 2008).
Home 8/5 Draw 11/5 Away 7/5
Salisbury have more or less missed out on reaching the play-offs when you consider that Exeter are in sixth place and the Grecians are five points behind fifth-placed Stevenage. City are 12 points off the play-offs and you'd pretty much say they're season is over - they're not going to go down and they've had a fantastic season. However, Boro have more to play for and that's the way we've priced it up.
Stevenage have lost eight times on the road this season, while Salisbury have drawn seven times at home so I think the draw looks good value at 11/5.
Under 2.5 goals is 10/11, over 2.5 goals is slightly shorter at 4/5 and I'd possibly just favour the latter.
In the goalscorer markets Stevenage's Steve Morison is 9/2 and Isaiah Rankin 7/1 to be the first goalscorer, with Salisbury's Marvin Brown and Matt Tubbs both 7/1.
Verdict: Draw
Best Bet: Over 2.5 goals at 4/5
