Chris Wilder's Oxford travel to Burton on Friday.
Friday April 17, 2009
Burton Albion v Oxford United (19.45, Live on Setanta 1)
Prices correct at time of writing (6pm, Wednesday April 15, 2009
Home 6/5 Draw 12/5 Away 15/8
Burton face a tough task on Friday night as Oxford are one of the form sides in the Blue Square Premier with 17 points secured from their last seven games. Roy McFarland has done a good job at the Pirelli Stadium and he has steered the Brewers to the brink of promotion to the Football League, however they have struggled in the last couple of weeks as they look to maintain their place at the top of the table. A draw will be enough for Burton to win promotion but Chris Wilder's side, who are still hoping to bag a play-off spot, will be tough to beat and I think they can continue their recent charge towards the top five with victory.
Verdict: Away win
