Weymouth face York City on Friday night
Friday April 24, 2009
Weymouth v York City (Kick-off 19.45)
No odds available.
Lewes, Northwich and now Woking have been relegated and Weymouth will fill the fourth and final relegation spot if they fail to beat York on Friday night, which would also mean that York, Barrow and Grays would all be safe. Weymouth have just collapsed with all their financial problems at the end of the season. It's been an amazing situation but boss Bobby Gould is a good motivator and he could just lead them to a win against York on Friday night and set up and thrilling scenario on Sunday. It would be an unlikely one but you never know. It's sad to see a club like Weymouth go downhill like they have done. City look like they have got themselves out of jail and they've been lucky with the way the fixtures have worked out for them. My heart says I'd like Weymouth to extend their chance of staying up until Sunday, but my head says no chance.
