Rushden v Woking

Rushden & Diamonds have appointed Justin Edinburgh as their full-time manager ahead of the visit of relegated Woking to Nene Park on Sunday afternoon.

The Diamonds boss could be tempted to make changes to his squad for the season's finale.

Defender Curtis Osano could make a surprise return to the starting line-up after recovering from a knee injury recently.

Striker Michael Rankine has recovered from a head injury and is pushing for a start along with midfielder Jake Beecroft.

Edinburgh told Northants ET: "A lot of people were sold short at Forest Green - particularly our fans. They didn't get half-price tickets because it's nearly the end of the season and they didn't get full value for money.

"We've gone through all that now and I have been delighted with the players' response in training.

"They have worked hard over the last four days and we're looking forward to Sunday's game."

Woking have also made a managerial appointment this week after it was revealed that caretaker boss Graham Baker has been appointed in a permanent capacity.

The former Southampton manager is boosted by the return of a number of players from long-term injury as he looks to end the season on a high.

Striker Delano Sam-Yorke has returned to contention along with defensive duo Joe Magunda and Danny Bunce.

Baker told getsurrey: "The players are still playing for contracts on Sunday at Rushden.

"The playing budget is significantly less than last season and the decision on players will be made in the next few weeks. I'm looking for a squad of around 18 to 20."
