Mansfield Town boss David Holdsworth will be forced into a number of changes for the visit of in-from Stevenage Borough on Sunday due to a lengthy injury list.
The Stags boss is definitely without the services of Rob Duffy, Matt Somner, Curtis Woodhouse, Gary Silk, Scott Gardner, Louis Briscoe and Mark Stallard.
Holdsworth will hand late fitness tests to Scott Garner, Alan O'Hare, Alan Marriott and Conor Higginson.
Goalkeeper Alan Marriott returns after completing a three-match suspension and is expected to reclaim his starting berth.
Holdsworth told the Mansfield Chad: "We will wrap everyone up in cotton wool and see what happens.
"I may have to change things around a lot and even go with three at the back - an idea I have been toying with."
Stevenage will be targeting a three-point haul on Sunday to assure themselves of a coveted play-off berth.
Graham Westley has suffered just one defeat in 30 games as Stevenage boss and will want more of the same from his side on Sunday afternoon.
Key defender Jon Ashton is still rated doubtful as he struggles to shake off a shoulder injury and Mark Albrighton is on standby to deputise in his absence.
