Crawley v Histon

Crawley Town are boosted by the return of a number of first-team players for the visit of play-off contenders Histon to Broadfield Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Defender Jake Wright should return after missing the midweek defeat to Grays Athletic with an ankle problem.

Midfield duo Simon Weatherstone and Thomas Pinault should be available for selection after missing out with respective groin and ankle injuries.

Red Devils boss Steve Evans told his club's website: "Histon are a very good side and will come here determined to win so the match has all the ingredients to be a great advert for The Blue Square Premier.

"I have a number of players back available for tomorrow that were missing for our midweek match at Grays Athletic so we will be ready for action.

"Its our last match of a very good season and we want to finish with a win especially in front of our supporters who have played a big part over the course of the season."

Histon boss Steve Fallon has doubts over the availability of midfielder Josh Simpson, who is struggling to shrug off an ankle injury.

The Stutes have won their last four league games and need just one point to confirm their play-off status.

Fallon told Cambridge News: "There is a very big onus on us to go there and get a result.

"If the other teams do their bit it could be quite a serious mishap if we were not to make the play-offs. We want to finish second and third and to do that we've got to win the game.

"There's a massive incentive to go to Crawley and perform against a side that will do us no favours at all.

"They will wind us up and be in our faces and it will be important we keep our discipline. We've got to keep our professionalism and stay with 11 players on the pitch.

"We've still got an outside chance of finishing runners-up and that would be great. Second and third is what the teams want.

"You'd prefer to know what you've got to do in the second leg at home and that could make it a little bit easier. If you're going to go through you want to do it on your home ground in front of your supporters."
