Wrexham v Ebbsfleet

Hitman Christian Smith is confident that Wrexham can take all three points from their clash against Ebbsfleet at the Racecourse Ground.

The game is a must-win for the Dragons if they are to retain any hopes of finishing in the play-off places.

"It is important we take three points tomorrow," Smith told the Leader.

"We should have taken three points at Salisbury on Saturday, it didn't happen but we will look to put it right against Ebbsfleet.

"We know games are running out and we need to put a string of wins together.

"We have known since the break around Christmas that we have needed to get a winning run going.

"We are now going to have to win quite a few of our remaining games.

"As long as we stay tight at the back, we will get chances in games , it is whether we take them or not."

Dean Saunders' charges will welcome back striker Gareth Taylor (ankle), but there is a cloud of the fitness of Silvio Spann who is struggling with a hamstring problem.

Ebbsfleet are desperate for a win as they put more distance between themselves and the relegation zone.

Fleet assistant manager Paul McCarthy told BBC Radio Kent: "It was a terrific performance the other night (at Kidderminster).

"Every game is massive now and has been for a couple of months.

"When you only win one of your first 21 games the second half of the season is massive and the lads have responded."

Magno Vieira, who is struggling with a hamstring injury, is set to undergo a late fitness test.
