Histon v Tamworth

Histon could again be without their regular first team for their mid-week game against Tamworth after manager Alan Lewer dropped six players for the clash with Gateshead on the weekend.

Skipper Matt Langston as well as the likes of Nathaniel Knight-Percival, Danny Wright, Lanre Oyebanjo and Bradley Hudson-Odoi were all missing for the 0-0 draw as Lewer.

He added on BBC: "It (Tuesday's visit of Tamworth) will be a similar line-up to Saturday. The boys deserve their chance.

"The club is bigger than any player and we have got to make that known to everyone out there."

Despite being nine points clear of the relegation zone, with four matches without a goal, and only one win in nine, Lewer has told those committed players that the club faces a race for survival.

Tamworth, meanwhile, come into the tie on the back of a 1-0 loss to Rushden & Diamonds and with just two points more than their opponents this week, it is a game they will have targeted to win, given Histon's off-field problems.

Jake Sheridan may feature for the Lambs, while Nick Wright is still out with an ankle problem.
