Saturday's Blue Square South Wrap

Dover consolidated their place at the top of the table with a commanding 4-2 win over Hampton & Richmond whilst Woking, in failing to beat lowly Maidenhead United, slipped into third spot.

Newport County piled in five goals and conceded but one against Eastleigh at Newport Stadium, with Craig Reid (24,76) scoring a brace and Charlie Henry (31), Danny Rose (37) and Sam Foley (74) adding one apiece. Shaun McAuley scored a solitary goal for the Spitfires but it would make no difference as they remained at 13th on the log.

Braintree Town and Worcester played out a goalless draw at Cressing Road Stadium, as neither the Iron nor the Loyals could conjure up a goal. Braintree retain their spot at 4th on the log, whilst City plunge to 20th position.

Dorcester failed to win at home, going down to Welling at Avenue Stadium. An early goal from Yado Mambo in the 9th minute was cancelled out by Matt Groves in the 39th minute but the Magpies had no answer when Tom Whitnell scored in the 85th minute to boost his side into 17th position on the log.

Staines Town hosted Chelmsford at Wheatsheaf Park. In failing to contain Anthony Cook in the 90th minute, the Swans slipped to 11th on the table in front of a dissapointed crowd. The Clarets went up the table to 9th position.

Bromley and Weston-S-Mare scored a goal apiece at the Courage Stadium. A goal in the 20th minute from Ashan Holgate put the Seagulls into an early lead. They would maintain their advantage until the 52nd minute, when Warren McBean restored parity. The draw sees Bromley fall to eighth on the log whilst Weston-S-Mare rise up the table to 15th.
