Second-placed Dover played to a 2-2 draw against Blue Square South play-off hopefuls Bromley at the Courage Stadium on Saturday.
The hosts raced into a two-goal lead by the half-hour mark through goals from Rob Gillman and Luke I'Anson. But Dover fought back in the second half thanks to two penalties meaning honours ended even in London.
Former Gillingham man Jon Wallis pulled one back via a penalty in the 56th minute and Welsh forward Adam Birchall ensured a dramatic climax to the match by scoring a 90th minute equaliser from the spot.
Dover missed an opportunity to close the gap to leaders Newport County who drew 1-1 in an away fixture at Twerton Park.
It was the hosts, Bath City, who took the lead after 14 minutes when Sido Jombati found the back of the net. But the Exiles showed their title credentials and equalised just six minutes later when striker Craig Reid scored from a penalty kick.
But third-placed Woking cut the gap on both Dover and Newport County with a resounding 3-0 win over Bishop's Stortford at Woodside Park. Matthew Wright, Moses Ademola and Giuseppe Sole were the men to get their names of the scoresheet for the Cards.
Elsewhere, Braintree Town remain seventh in the standings following their narrow 3-2 win over bottom club Weymouth at the Cressing Road Stadium.
The Iron took just two minutes to get off the mark to shock the visitors as George Purcell opened the scoring. Sean Marks then doubled the host side's lead in the 21st minute before Purcell completed his brace just moments before the interval.
Although Braintree appeared to have the points wrapped up, the Terras launched a rousing fight back in the second stanza.
Welshman Josh Llewellyn put Weymouth on the board with his finish in the 54th minute and Jake Reid ensured there was a nervous closing to the match by making it 3-2 from the spot with a quarter of an hour left on the clock.
But Weymouth couldn't find an equaliser and are still propping up the table as they lie four points adrift of second-bottom Lewes.
Hampton & Richmond had two men sent off in their ill-tempered 2-1 defeat away to Dorchester but both clubs are hovering far nearer the drop zone than they would want.
Dean Wells gave the Beavers the lead but his goal was cancelled out by Kevin Hill's goal. Matt Groves then scored the winner for the Magpies nine minutes from full time but only after Jon Scarborough and Wells saw red for the visiting team.
