Newport County took a step closer towards sealing their promotion to the Blue Square Premier, while play-off chasing Bromley cruised to comfortable victory over Weymouth.

Mark Goldberg's Bromley kept their play-off dream alive with a massive win against rock-bottom Weymouth at the Courage Stadium.

Ashley Carew opened Bromley's account from the penalty spot in the fourth minute and defender Rob Gillman doubled their advantage when he found the back of the net in the 22nd minute.

Richard Butler further extended their lead with a 64th minute effort and striker Warren McBean wrapped up a convincing result when he struck home in the 71st minute.

Dorchester Town and play-off chasing Woking played to a 1-1 draw at the Avenue Stadium with both goals arriving in the final ten minutes of the match.

On-loan striker Nathaniel Pinney fired the Cards ahead in the 83rd minute but Magpies defender Kevin Hill popped up five minutes later to restore parity.

Worcester City mounted a memorable comeback from three goals down to earn a share of the spoils with fellow strugglers Lewes at the Dripping Pan.

Midfielder Ricky Holmes opened Chelmsford's account in the 22nd minute and defender Marlon Patterson sealed the result with a 85th minute effort.

League leaders Newport County had enough gas in the tank to see off the challenge of play-off hopefuls Braintree Town at Newport Stadium.

Irish striker Sam Foley fired the Exiles ahead in the 62nd minute and they held firm to claim yet another home victory.

Eastleigh kept their play-off dream alive with a hard fought victory over fellow hopefuls Staines Town at Wheatsheaf Park.

Leroy Griffiths pulled one back for Staines from the penalty spot in the 83rd minute but it was too little, too late as Eastleigh held on to claim all three points.

Bath City kept themselves in the hunt for the end-of-season play-offs with a 2-0 victory over Welling United at Park View Road.

Welsh forward Kaid Mohamed opened Bath's account in the 41st minute and on-loan striker Dave Gilroy sealed the result with a 90th minute strike.
