The Weekend's Blue Square South Preview

Newport County boss Dean Holdsworth has urged his charges to maintain their winning ways ahead of their clash against Bishop's Stortford at Newport Stadium on Saturday.

The Exiles need just four points to clinch the title and the County manager is confident they can wrap up league honours with victory in their next two outings.

"We're focused and I'm trying to keep my players' feet on the ground," Holdsworth told the BBC.

"The league is not done and dusted yet. This is first of two games in what could be a fantastic weekend for the club is against Bishop's Stortford.

"It is not a foregone conclusion and we must respect them but I want us to play as champions as winning the title is a great achievement for the lads."

Chelmsford will be confident of retaining second-spot in the standings as they make the trip to Woodspring Stadium where they will face lowly Weston-S-Mare.

The Clarets have won their last three games on the trot and they will be brimming with confidence against a Seagulls outfit that have picked up just four points from their last five games.

Bath City trail the Clarets by just three points and with Braintree Town and Staines Town breathing down their neck, they face a vital trip to sixth-placed Eastleigh.

The Romans will go into the tie on a high after their win against Thurrock last time out, while the Spitfires will be desperate to bounce back from their mid-week loss to St Albans.

Braintree Town entertain Dorchester at Cressing Road Stadium knowing that they cannot afford to slip-up as the race for the play-off spots heats up.
