Stansfield: One goal, one assist.
Exeter City claimed a promotion play-off berth after playing to a comfortable win against Rushden & Diamonds at Nene Park on Saturday afternoon.
The Grecians opened their account after just eight minutes when Adam Stansfield tapped in from the left-hand side of the six-yard box.
They doubled their advantage on the 62nd minute when Ryan Harley collected a Stansfield cross and went on to drill a right-footed effort into the bottom-right corner.
The visitors continued to pile on the pressure but couldn't produce a third goal as Steve Tully missed the target with two late shots.
