Iyseden Christie
Despite suffering a heavy defeat at the hands of Kidderminster Harriers on Tuesday night, Burton Albion can take solace in the fact that they will contest in the play-offs after Stevenage's defeat at home to Northwich.
Darryl Knights got the ball rolling for the home side when he finished neatly from close range on 18 minutes.
It was 2-0 not long after when Iyseden Christie smashed an inch-perfect Matthew Barnes-Homer pass into the back of the Albion net.
Things got even worse for the visitors when Knights grabbed his second of the game to make it 3-0 with four minutes left until the break.
The visitors hit back with 12 minutes left on the clock when Shaun Harrad turned a Michael Simpson pass into the gaping net.
But any hopes of a revival for Burton were ended two minutes from time when Harriers' Gavin Hurren finished off a perfect Michael McGrath corner to seal the three-points.
