York City 1-1 Mansfield Town

An own goal from Exodus Geohaghon earned York City a vital draw as they finished the first-leg of their Blue Square Bet Premier play-off semi-final against 10-man Mansfield Town 1-1.

The Stags broke the deadlock 26 minutes into Wednesday's Bootham Crescent tie through Ross Dyer, who flicked his header home past Michael Ingham off Geohaghon's long throw-in.

However, the player's assist was soon overshadowed as he could only direct former Stags player Jon Challinor's cross past his own goalkeeper three minutes before the break to set up thrilling second leg at Field Mill.

The visitors' night got even worse as Matt Green was shown a red card after picking up a second booking.

The two teams will square up for the second leg on May 7, with a final against Wrexham or Luton awaiting the winner.
