Defender Middleton leaves Seagulls

Blue Square South outfit Weston-super-Mare have revealed that defender Bradley Middleton has walked out of the Woodspring Stadium this week.

Middleton has sensationally left the club after signing for the club over a fortnight ago, leaving the Seagulls with no recognised left-back.

The former Cardiff City defender made the decision after not being included in the squad to face Maidenhead.

Manager Tony Ricketts told the club's website: "I said to Bradley, let's wait until Monday.

"Get Monday out of the way and see if you still feel the same way then but Bradley said to me 'I want to leave now'".

"I understand that players want to play but I can only pick 11.

"Ironically Bradley would of started against Eastleigh but Ryan Paddock came in and did well."
