Linnets looking to keep Luke

King's Lynn are hoping to secure a deal with Kettering Town defender Luke Graham who is currently on a loan deal at the club.

Linnets boss Keith Webb revealed that he will be increasing his efforts in order to extend the player's loan stint.

Graham sent a late header into the back of the net to seal a win at Hucknall Town on the weekend and Webb is convinced that that the two parties will be able to reach an agreement.

"Ideally I would like to extend it," he told the EveningTelegraph.

"I'll be sitting down with the chairman and together hopefully we will be in a position to get in touch with Kettering to see if we can do that.

"I've talked to Luke and he's not against the idea to be fair so if it suits both parties we would like to think something might be possible."

The 22-year old last week admitted that he is eyeing a regular first-team spot after only making two sub appearances for the Blue Square Premier leaders.

"It's been left pretty open at the moment," Graham said.

"I think from the King's Lynn angle they would like me to stay and help the boys a bit more.

"With the January transfer window coming up it might be better for me to stay and play games rather than go back to Kettering and not really feature in the fold. It's very important I play games."
