AFC Wimbledon's Blue Square Premier clash against Mansfield will go ahead after the referee for the match gave the all-clear.
25 volunteers help clear the snow on Thursday in a desperate bid to see the match go ahead with Wimbledon secretary David Charles telling the Mansfield official site: "The referee came to look at the pitch this morning and he is happy with its state.
"The weather forecast in not predicting any problems and no further pitch inspections are planned."
Just a single point separates the two sides with Mansfield a point better off than their hosts this weekend.
Three points will be vital for both sides with at least five other teams hoping to challenge for a top five finish.
The Dons are set to hand debuts to left-back Danny Blanchett and new midfielder Glenn Poole while striker Danny Kedwell will have a late fitness test on a foot injury goalkeeper James Pullen, who was struggling with an ankle injury is fit to take his place between the poles.
Mansfield Town boss David Holdsworth must again do without Kyle Nix, who remain sidelined with a knee injury and while Rochdale striker Jon Shaw has joined the Stags attack, he looks set to be given time to settle before being thrown into action.
