Grays Athletic 0-2 Luton

Luton Town continued their search for the play-offs with a 2-0 victory over Grays Athletic on Saturday afternoon.

The Hatters were in control of the match for large chunks and thoroughly deserved to claim their tenth win of the season.

Town took the lead in the 39th minute after a dominant spell when Tom Craddock applied the easiest of finishes to a Kevin Gallen pass.

Luton looked good value for their lead going into the break and they managed to double it shortly after the restart.

Gallen picked up a pass from Kevin Nicholls and made no mistake in finding the net and securing the points for his side.

Gallen probably should have grabbed his second of the game late on, but his effort could not beat Preston Edwards in the Grays goal.

Grays were largely disappointing over the 90 minutes and will need to improve drastically if they are to start moving up the table.
