Darlington clinch White return
Blue Square Premier side Luton Town have confirmed that defender Alan White has joined League Two side Darlington on-loan until the end of the season.
The experienced defender returned to the Hatters for a second spell in June last year following his release by Darlington.
However, Quakers boss Steve Staunton has decided to bring White back to the Darlington Arena with his side 10 points adrift at the bottom of the table.
Staunton told Darlington's official website: "I'm absolutely delighted to be bringing Alan back to the club.
"It's a terrific signing for us and one that I've been keen to do since the window opened.
"What was very pleasing was that Alan was desperate to come back. He loves his home town and couldn't get up here quick enough to do the deal, which shows how much he's desperate to play for us and to help us stay in League Two.
"I'm sure that will show in his performances between now and the end of the season, starting with the Aldershot match tomorrow."
