Luton Town v AFC Wimbledon

Richard Money's Luton Town play host to fellow play-off hopefuls AFC Wimbledon at Kenilworth Road on Saturday as they look to get back to winning ways.

The Hatters played to a goalless draw with high-flying York City in midweek and currently find themselves sitting in fourth place with 56 points from 30 fixtures.

Lewis Emanuel is rated doubtful after missing the midweek match with a toe injury.

Goalkeeper Kevin Pilkington will miss out while Liam Hatch is expected to start again after recovering from a calf injury in time for the midweek clash against York.

Wombles boss Terry Brown will hand a late fitness test to defender Brett Johnson, who is struggling to shrug off a knee injury.

Fellow defender Kennedy Adjei is ruled out for Saturday's clash with a knock but Danny Blanchett is available for selection.

Looking ahead to the clash, Brown told the club's official website: "We are looking forward to Saturday's clash as Luton.

"I was fortunate enough to see the visit of Oxford last week in what must have been one of the most dramatic games ever seen at Kenilworth Road.

"I'd like to say how much I enjoyed Luton's victory but unfortunately, like quite a number of supporters on the night, I had left after 90 minutes, fully convinced that Oxford had won a very close encounter.

"I have since seen the two Luton goals which were both scored from corners, one of them directly into the net, and therefore we know where at least one of their threats lies. Luton's form since the defeat at home to Ebbsfleet has been very good but, as Ebbsfleet proved, they are certainly not invincible at home.

"I know most of our fans are looking forward to the trip on Saturday as we will once again be locking horns with a very famous and distinguished ex-football league opponent. I have no idea how our previous record stands up against Luton - all I do know is that we shall have to be at our best if we are to come away with the points on Saturday.

"This is the second of three difficult games away from home and dropping two points against Cambridge will put extra significance on the points at stake in the next two games."
