Grimsby v Luton

Luton Town travel to Blundell Park on Saturday for a Blue Square Bet Premier blockbuster clash against Grimsby Town.

The hosts, who are eighth in the standings, will be looking for a positive result in the televised fixture against the Hatters, although Grimsby manager Neil Woods is expecting a challenging fixture.

"It's a big test for us - probably our biggest game of the season so far," he told This is Grimsby.

"Luton were favourites for promotion pre-season and I think we were third favourites so both clubs are fancied to do well because of their size and stature at this level.

"It's a fixture that everyone else in the league will probably look at and maybe that's why it's been chosen to be on TV."

The Mariners' new loan signing, Richard O'Donnell, is expected to start while Michael Coulsen (ankle) should also return from injury.

Alan Connell (knee), Michael Leary, Peter Bore (both virus) and Lee Ridley (groin) could feature pending late fitness tests, while Rob Atkinson (hernia) and Charles Ademeno (hamstring) are sidelined.

The Hatters, who lie in fourth position one point ahead of Grimsby, re-signed Taiwo Atieno and the striker might go straight into the fray this weekend.

The club's manager, Richard Money, is delighted to have the forward amongst his team's ranks.

"He has a lot to offer and we're looking forward to working with him once again," Money told the club's official website.

"He is a tall, more aggressive type of centre forward and one which we feel will compliment the strikers we have at the club very well."

However, Money will be without the services of midfielder Andy Drury, while defender Shane Blackett is likely to deputise for the injured Fred Murray in defence.
