Dean Saunders
Wrexham boss Dean Saunders has created history at the Dragons by becoming the first manager to win his first five matches in charge.
The former Liverpool hitman took over the reigns after previous mentor Brian Little was sacked after a poor start to the Blue Square Premier season.
The Wales assistant boss has outlined his intent of helping the North Wales club regain its Football League status and praised the players after the 3-1 victory over Weymouth at the weekend despite a 15-hour round journey.
He told the BBC: "It took us seven-and-a-half hours to get here.
"It was a bit of a nightmare trip down but the win and record will ensure we will have a laugh on the way home.
"The players deserve the credit because they're the ones that have won the games for this club.
"But we can't get too carried away.
"My goal here is to get Wrexham back in the Football League because that is where a club with this heritage and standing belongs. And I won't rest easy until we're back there."
