Mackin in a determined mood

Levi Mackin has made it his goal to lift Blue Square Premier outfit Wrexham back up after their recent defeat, their first in two months.

New manager Dean Saunders has done an impressive job since taking over, leading his side to five wins on the trot.

However, a 1-0 defeat to Kidderminster Harriers over the weekend brought an end to their fine run of form.

And Mackin is now determined to get his side back to winning ways.

The midfielder told the Evening Leader: "We are gutted because it is the first defeat under the gaffer in the league.

"We have got to pick ourselves up and do again.

"If we can have a good week training, hopefully we can bounce back with a win on Saturday.

"We will try and put this behind us and hopefully turn it around."
