Dragons capture Cardiff winger

Wrexham boss Dean Saunders has strengthened his side with the loan signing of Cardiff winger Jonathan Brown.

The Wales Under-21 International will be on loan to the Blue Square Premier side until January.

The Dragons boss is hoping the 18-year-old, who made his debut for the Cardiff last season, can make an immediate impact.

Brown, a product of the Bluebird's Academy system, is looking forward to furthering his footballing education at The Racecourse under with some first team action.

Brown told the club's official website: "It's all come as a bit of shock, but a nice one.

"It's a great chance to get some first team games and I'm looking forward to it."

Meanwhile, Dragons midfielder Simon Brown has joined Rushden and Diamonds on loan, also until January.

Wrexham manager Dean Saunders said: "The chance for Simon to get a few games will help us all."
