Sam Williamson
Dean Saunders, manager of Blue Square Premier club Wrexham, has made his second loan signing this week with the capture of Manchester City defender Sam Williamson.
The Macclesfield-born player joins the Dragons on a month's loan and will have the option to make the move permanent when the transfer window re-opens.
The 21-year-old left-back was handed his first-team debut in April this year, when he came on as a substitute for the injured Richard Dunne.
He was also a member of City's FA Youth Cup-winning side last season and is expected to make his debut at Stevenage Borough on Saturday.
Saunders told the Daily Post: "Sam has come in until January 3, but with a view to a permanent move on a free transfer.
"He can play either left back or left midfield, he is young and from good stock, having been at a Premiership club, and is exactly the sort of player I want."
